[Kansas City.com] The Chiefs listed Branden Albert as out for Sunday’s game against the Panthers in Charlotte on their injury report. Albert, who didn’t practice on Wednesday, dislocated his elbow in last week’s win against Denver.

Herb Taylor will instead start at left tackle.

The Chiefs said defensive end Tamba Hali (knee), cornerback Pat Surtain (shoulder) and cornerback Dimitri Patterson (quad) were limited in practice.

Quarterback Brodie Croyle (shoulder) and linebacker Donnie Edwards (ankle) also are out.

    1. Several issues briefly, Herm and Queen Carl need to go. Why the Chiefs got excited about a coach who only had one lucky, decent season in New York I’m not sure? And a long-term GM that has not even managed to build a team to win an AFC championship let alone a super bowl. Yes, Herm led us to the playoffs one year not by talent as a coach but by a fluke win by a horrible 49ers team going into Denver and accidentally winning. We have a defense built to win. Give these kids 1 more year together and they’ll be tough. Brody needs to go-injury prone at Alabama and proving the same here in KC, he’s obviously not a starting QB in the NFL. Hire Bill Cowher, a coach who gets mad and gives a crap

    2. HEY THERE BRIAN,,,,
I AGREE WITH YOU ON ALL LEVELS,,,,WE NEED COACH COWHER IN THE WORST WAY TO COME IN AND TURN THIS TEAM AROUND,,,HERM THE WORM IS “”NOT”" THE ANSWER FOR US AND OUR PLAY CALLING ON OFFENSE IS THE WORST!! EVERYONE INCLUDING US FANS CAN TELL WHAT WE ARE GONNA RUN WITH EACH PLAY BEFORE IT’S RUN,,,,RUN UP THE MIDDLE ON 1ST & 2ND DOWNS AND THROW A LITTLE 1 YARD PASS ON 3RD AND LONG AND PUNT ON 4TH.WE CAN’T HAVE THAT ANYMORE AS WELL.WE NEED ALBERT BACK AND TO BECOME AGGRESSIVE AND UNPREDICTABLE ON OFFENSE!!!

    3. I do not dislike Herm on the Defensive side of the Ball. I like his moves in the draft, especially the secondary that he has built. As far as offense goes… the guy is a mental midget. His personal problem with Huard is killing us. His youth movement at quaterback looks more like a bowl movement. Just start Huard and let Gailey call the plays. Herm only belongs on the defensive side of the ball.

    5. Go Carl, Go Herm, Go Larry, Go Bowe, Go Tony Gonzalez, Go Chiefs!!!
I heard a bunch of you guys (the same that complain about Herm and Carl) complaining about LJ and saying that he’s not the same and that he looks flat. I BET YOU AREN’T SAYING THAT NOW!!! He is 7 yards away from being the top rusher in the league. You guys just need to chill on Herm and let the man make some progress with his “new and young” team.

A Chiefs fan wrote in to ESPN and asked why Herm isn’t on the hot seat to be fired.
ESPN responded by saying “It would be stupid and Raiders like to bring in a coach to rebuild a team and once the team starts getting good fire the coach.”

      I AGREE!

I believe we are making progress. ENOUGH WITH THE NEGATIVITY!!! I’M DISGUSTED BY IT!!! IT’S ALL I SEE ON HERE!!! Maybe you Nay sayers are the problem. It’s bad Mojo Yo!
