[KC Chiefs.com] The NFL informed the Chiefs on Friday afternoon that RB Larry Johnson was selected by fans on NFL.com as the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for his efforts in the Chiefs 33-19 victory over Denver last Sunday.
Johnson recorded the fourth-best single-game rushing performance in Chiefs history, posting 28 carries for 198 yards and two touchdowns in the Chiefs first victory of the season. He now leads the AFC in rushing yards with 415 yards on 86 carries.

Exactly, let’s see how many games we can win during this ‘rebuilding’ mode!
Just need Larry to run angry and Huard to manage the game…. let the defense play aggressive.

Exactly see how much we can get for him in trade come draft day next year so we can keep Tony G., and move this rebuilding project up a whole lot quicker so that we can possibly get Tony a ring before he retires in 3 or 4 years, if he lasts that long.
If we do not get rid of LJ now, he will ruin this team, this year is our last chance to do it. We have some good you talent behind him in Jammal Charles and Kolby Smith, but, Smith will walk after this year if LJ is still here, and we will get nothing for him, and he is certainly worthy of a change of pace back if nothing else.
This is just my two cents worth, if it it is worth that much…

Larry is the best player on the team. We just need to make sure he stays pissed off.

We gave up Dante Hall for Kolbe Smith. If he leaves and we get nothing than we basically just gave away Dante Hall. I don’t like that. I think it is wrong that we traded him in the 1st place. I watched the Ram game last week and Dante is starting to show some of his old stuff again. he was in with Trent Green and they ran a nice reverse to Hall. He still has nice moves and quickness. That was messed up the way he was thrown away like trash after being one of our main dudes for a while.

Now lets see if we can get Carl and Herm outta there.

“we can possibly get Tony a ring before he retires in 3 or 4 years, if he lasts that long.”
If Herm “28 points a game; that’s not real football” Edwards is involved, the Chiefs will never get a ring.

The best guy on our team last year was Jared Allen, where is he? Tony Gonzalez deserves better than the shit we are giving him now. He does not deserve whining little bitches like LJ. If anyone deserves to say give me the ball more it is Tony, not LJ!
The fact that Tony Gonzalez talked about possibly wanting to be traded or going to fininsh he career out in another uniform is very disheartening to a long standing die-heart Chief fan like myself, especially when you have guys like LJ who are just in it for the money, when Tony play with heart, never complains, never gets in trouble, and is an all around stand-up guy! It just kills me to see something like this happen!

WOW 34-0. That is fucking sorry! If that doesn’t say that we need some changes in the front office and the fucking coaching staff I DON’T KNOW WHAT WILL. That was pathetic. I honestly feel sorry for our guys. SAD day in Chiefs Nation. I think that Clark Hunt needs to make some changes during the week off. We can’t continue like this. If it makes us feel this bad as fans, imagine how our boys in red feel. I feel sick about this. WOW!!!

You feel sick Nick? I paid good money to go to this game to watch my boys play and this was the Abortion of a team I got to watch play. Look for pictures of me coming soon to the internet wearing my chiefs jersy and a bag over my head……rebuilding is’nt supposed to look like this.

This is self-destruction

Hell, I think the Chiefs should start thinking about contacting Jeff George again, LOL! He at least was big, he may not have been mobile, but, I’bet he could take a hit better than Dewey, Cheat’em, and Howe, like we have now!
