[Kansas City.com] Running back Larry Johnson returned to practice Wednesday, a week after his most recent practice and subsequent public apology for his recent brushes with trouble.
But that doesn’t mean he’ll be in uniform Sunday against Tampa Bay.
Coach Herm Edwards hasn’t announced officially that Johnson won’t play, but he dropped his strongest hint yet Wednesday that Johnson won’t be in the lineup.
Asked whether the Chiefs would consider playing Johnson if the team’s other backs were injured, Edwards said: “We still have (Jackie) Battle,” referring to a running back on Kansas City’s practice squad.

How is he going to be in the Hall of Fame when he can’t even get on the field? He’s not even the Chiefs all time leading rusher.
I was a huge LJ fan, but now I’m wondering if I’ll ever where his Jersey again. I have a daughter and any man who treats women the way he does, isn’t a man.
If he gets help and cleans up his act, then I’ll forgive and forget. Bottom line, he hasn’t helped us win anymore games. They can’t all be Priest Holmes.

Hall of Famer? Priest Holmes won’t ever make the HOF. LJ is in the Hall of Shame bud, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we traded him for next to nothing or released him outright after the season. I think we should cut ties with Herm, Carl, LJ and Surtain. Get rid of those 4 guys and I’m a happy man.

Just checking back in and so this post, thanks for defending me J.R. NO, LJ is just a pice of garbage and a wasted draft pick and I don’t care how many yards he carries for, in my opinion the boy needs to be bitch slapped! I am five foot six and I tell you what if I ever met the SOB, I wouldn’t hesitate, I may lose, but, he would know I was there! When I was in the Navy, I took on my two best friends in one night, the one who was six four, I broke his nose, and then went after the hockey player, dumb mistake, but I learned from it, and that was over a woman, and really stupid (When your friends tell you you are making a mistake, they usually know what they are talking about, LOL). Any man who treats women the way he does is NO MAN in my book.
If he doesn’t like what I am saying come on down to Arlington Heights, IL, I am in the phone book…
