Alrighty then cool. I understand your frustration with the chiefs. I just don’t really see a quick fix. I do however want to be able to say i was there in the worst times, when things get going.
Look at the patriots. They were a team at one time that looked like the chiefs we see now. I believe there are better days ahead. I also think we need to go in a different direction in management. I don’t know if it is all herm or the culmination of everything. I do know this, carl peterson needs to modify his approach or move on an let someone else try. If it starts at the top then its not herms fault its his.
I to am sorry if i made you angry. I guess my original post was more intended for those bronco/raider trolls that so often think they have all the answers about someone else’s team.
So again sorry if i made a chiefs fan angry. Not my intention at all.
And yes i would be more than happy to go after any of those other fans any time.

And just for the record, our founding fathers locked themselves in courtrooms and had fistfights (literally) regarding differences of opinions. There were actually documented cases of people not returning to early congressional meetings due to being hospitalized because of physical injuries from the brawls and disagreements. So, our founding fathers didn’t see eye to eye, to say the least. The verbal battles that you and i have incurred pail in comparison to those of our founding fathers. So, let’s learn from them and be true americans and learn to work together for a common goal- The chiefs getting back to what you and i love. I might be naive, but i think if all chiefs fans ban together and send in letters and petitions to the organization, that some impact can be made. Hell, the browns have benched their pro bowl qb mainly because of fan criticism. Same as with the firing of matt millen in detroit. So, who knows, maybe us angry and disagreeing fans can come together and get some things done. I am open to any constructive criticism, and i myself do apologize for being so abrasive and rude to my fellow chief fans. I’d love to bury the hatchet with a few boulevard wheats someday. Early happy thanksgiving to all of you, because whether or not you think i’m ignorant or stupid or overly aggressive, we all have plenty to be thankful for. Googley, i honestly don’t know you, or your intellectual capacity. I’ll be honest with you ok? I’ll drop my pride and shoot you straight, and i hope you will do the same in response. You are a chiefs fan. I am a chiefs fan. I LOVE the chiefs. It seems you LOVE the chiefs. That makes me happy. To me, the more chiefs fans, the merrier. We obviously have fundamental differences on many matters. I apologize for any personal insults or character attacks. That was not my intention when beginning to post, but i seem to have let my emotions get the best of me and attacked you, and i apologize. My source of frustration solely stems from the lack of success of my favorite sports team of all time. I grew up going to arrowhead and football season only matters to me because of my beloved team in which i was raised.
We differ in our opinions as far as the direction of the team. That’s ok. I would like nothing more than for next year you and myself to have a good laugh about all this, because hopefully in the near future things get turned around(with herm and carl or not). I REALLY love the chiefs. I’m bummed that we’ve been sucking as of the last few years and i probably dumped some of that of people here who might not agree with the details of how to right the ship. So, yet again, i apologize. How about we both come to the general consensus that we both share a common goal- to see the chiefs succeed by whatever avenue possible. It would be sweet if the next time some tool ass broncos or raiders fan shows up here, we could be a united front to shut their punk ass down. I would get much more satisfaction from that than bantering back and forth with my fellow chiefs fans. So, i’m ready to bury the hatchett, because i think we both could agree that this mud-slinging that we’re both doing is accomplishing nothing. The only reason i’m saying this to YOU is because you seem to have a genuine piece of you that seems to want the same. Tell me if i’ve got you wrong, but i think you love the chiefs just as i do. Wow ill make this one short.
Since I’m such a uneducated retard i obviously wasn’t able to finish that post. So if your so much better than me, knowing that I’m dumb, you wouldn’t have gone to such length to explain yourself.
How many times do i have to say that i believe that everyone can have an opinion. I think that’s great. I also believe that as you state it you can freely disagree with someone. That to i believe in.
I do not however think that those founding fathers came together and put the constitution together called each other special ed kids or unintelligent. I believe they all understood that each one of them brought something different to the discussion that agree/disagree helped in forming the basis of our current government. But I’m sure each and everyone of them thought they were wayyy better than the other guy.
So you may think I’m an internet troll calling you out. I believe that i am trying to have a discussion with you to understand your point of view in an intelligent manner, to then influence my opinion. I have yet to question your intelligence. I may have brought other information i though relevant to the discussion, in an attempt to have you see it my way. Where you have done nothing to downgrade and belittle me.
I do think it is funny that you keep thinking ill go away. Like i read your post and thought wow everything this guy says it totally right. I mean wow he has exactly the right answer for every dumb thing i post and lets me know what that is. I wonder though isn’t that what i have been talking about the whole time? One more thing, what courtesies am i requesting by saying that your opinion doesn’t seem to make sense? You brought out the dictionary, so at least have the vernacular to understand what it means. Sense of entitlement means that i deserve a higher level of rights within a community than others. So what am i requesting? I’ve tried to retrace my steps to when i asked for money, or a new job, or labor, etc. I don’t remember doing that. I was hoping that i wouldn’t have to explain my comment but it seems I need to elaborate. Yes you are entitled to your own opinion, i will 100 percent agree with that. You however seem to prove my second point over and over and over again.

Sooo my point is, while yes you can have an opinion but that does not make you right. Lets take that thought one step further.

So the constitution says form a more perfect union, ensure domestic tranquility, and promote the general welfare. So do you think the founding fathers thought general welfare and ensure domestic tranquility was saying “you are missing elementary building blocks of intelligence, i.e. simple math skills” or ” Jake, you might be the biggest tool i’ve ever come across” about someone else under the same document??

I never said I’m a herm and carl supporter. No did i ever imply that i am not a chiefs fan.
I’m getting at the fact that sooo many people who have no power to change the situation think that they do.
So people like you turn what should be a discussion into a name calling competition.
I’m all for talking about what is in the chiefs future. Will Bill Cowher come to the chiefs. Will anyone actually be fired at the end of the season? Who will be drafted.

It’s glaringly obvious at this point that chief tom, googleymoney, and jake were the fat kids at sports and are a perfect example of what happens when kids in younger aged sports don’t keep score anymore. The last place 5th grader still gets a championship trophy. What crap. How will kids ever learn that they’re not the best at everything and that’s ok. Everyone has something great about them, but this is the problem with treating everyone like they won the 4th grade baseball league, when they didn’t. You end up with jakes, toms, and googleys who have a hard time understanding what results are. You’re the type of parent that if your teenager kept complaining about feeling fat, you’d say, “no, you’re just the way you are and there’s nothing wrong with that.” I, on the other hand, would say,” I love you just the way you are, but if you don’t like being overweight and want to avoid weekly doctor visits and diabetes, then maybe start your day off with a brisk jog or walk.” Jake, tom, and google all got as many trophies as the real champions, so now they have to stick up for anyone who sucks, like HERM AND CARL. The blind conformists seem to be silent right now, as expected. Go work your 12 step program to get your leaky beavers under control.

I’m taking all my comments about Herm back. He came here as a coach who emphasizes defense. Obviousily, he does know what he is doing. With his clock management and ability to make adjustments at half time how can we fail? Have we heard who is blaming this week? “Fouls and turnovers” —- good coaches don’t allow this. “They (Bills) are playing for a playoff position” –therefore good coaches rollover for them.

Mr. Edwards indicated we just need to rebound from this. At this point, with so many chances, herm should be an expert at rebounding from horrible games.
