[Kansas City.com] One of the Chiefs’ most promising young defenders will return to the starting lineup Sunday after missing the last two games.
Rookie cornerback Brandon Flowers, a second-round pick, said Friday that his injured hamstring has healed and that he didn’t think he had lost a step.
“I think I’m back where I was before I left off,” he said.
Flowers returned to practice last week, albeit in a limited role, after injuring the hamstring in the Chiefs’ loss against Tampa Bay three weeks ago. Flowers said he worked on footwork and defensive-backs drills before returning this week to full participation.

Good, cause Flowers is the man!
