“I” voted yes to hold onto Herm Edwards, and guess what? He is going to be with the Chiefs for quite a while, definitely next year. I know I’m in the minority on “THIS” website, but 1 vote does not make up over 15% dumbass.

kcchiefs692003- are you watching the games? Thigpen is doing great behind a mediocre O-Line. We need a defense! We have no pressure on any opposing QB we have faced. We need a DE and draft a Linebacker or 2.

i agree herm will be back next year and i think we nedd 2 linebackers and a pass rushing DE and a right guard but i dont agree that thigpen is our future qb im not sold on him and ill tell you why he forces some dumbass throws did you see some of the throws he made against oakland he should have been picked off more than once thats for sure. thigpens makes some tight ass passes like he’s brett favre another thing he doesnt wrong is that he stares down his reciever too much he needs to look off defenders a lot more he’s too easy to read he’s doing good statistically but like i said im not sold on him.

I agree we a de,lb,ol,.Thigpens young he still has alot to learn. Get him more snaps and more flim room study and he will stop staring recivers down.He does make some bad throws.The chiefs need to improve there defense frist and formemost. They dont need a qb.Although i do like Sam bradfords skills.If he’s there it would hard not to take him

I have to say he will be pretty good. I cant help but think how Big Ben did his rookie year. He use to stick with one receiver til that receiver get open. Peyton had tons of INTs his rookie year. I look at this as Thigpins rookie year. Let him grow a little. He will be fine.

chief tom, you should go watch pop warner football on sundays instead of the chiefs. I believe they have leagues where they don’t keep score, and you can feel satisfied based on “effort”. That kind of game might suit you better than a professional sports team, where THE SCORE MATTERS.
Just tryin to save u some frustration. Although, i can’t wait to hear how ur going to tell us how we “make losing look good” somehow.

Tom,
I wouldn’t call 17-32, 187yards against one of the worst defenses in football “great”. Thigpen is not going to have his favorite receiver next year, Tony G. Herm’s going to run him out of town and Herm doesn’t care if that will piss off a lot of fans. I could see Thigpen leading this team in the future. I definately like him better than Croyle.
I agree we need to fix the defense and a pass rush. But Herm is going to play most these young guys again next year–maybe we’ll improve to second-to-last defense.
This franchise is in the worst shape I have seen it in 40 years as a fan and all I keep hearing is “we’re getting better”, “all we have to do is make a couple plays”, and a couple more like that. I never hear Herm take any responsibility. Why can’t he say, “I should have done this” or “called this play”. The players aren’t the only ones responsible for losing these close games.

Tony is staying right where he is. He is happy now he is having 1 of his best seasons and he and Thigpen have good chemistry. I want a free agent pass rusher. Or the best 1 available from the draft. It is killing us how long the QB has back there.

I think Tony G is happy for having a good year cause he knows that it will make him a better trade in the off-season. Thats what happened to Jared Allen, He had a great year for us then was traded. I dont want to see Tony go, but I cant see Herm hanging on to him.

I dont want herm back but I think that they will keep him around for his rebuilding. The other teams that have done the rebuilding thing and had a bad year like we are having, then they came back to do very well. I just dont think that Herm has it in him to drive a winning team to the Superbowl. Hell, I dont think he can make it to a Conference Championship.

Come on man. It was going all right until someone let had their 4 year old help them write the post. Seriously a penis comment. You are grounded until you can say something that has an actual thought process behind it.

Can a majority of us agree that Thigpen should get at least a shot to be the starter next year?? By all means get a qb either free agent or draft. But with sooooooooooooo many more obvious needs right now i do not believe QB is our biggest need. Why do a raiders and spend 70 million on a QB and watch Tyler do everything and more? Another thought about Thiggy… can anyone remember the last time he was sacked??? Hes helping our patchwork offensive line look good.
Yes PASS RUSH. QBs have allllllll day to throw. Can we please get an opposing QBs jersey dirty?? I think we have decent talent at corner but when your put on an island every down you gonna look bad. Even champ bailey would get burned every freakin play.
