    1. We got the NFC East!!!

      Pittsburgh home… and Baltimore away.

Good God man, did someone think we were good this year? F**kin’ a we are gonna have to be the shit next year to even compete.

    2. Great! What do we get after a 2-14 or 3-13 season–we get to play the best NFC division. At least I will have 3 opportunities to go watch them next year. Since I live in VA, I can go to the Washington, Baltimore and Philly games.
Now, I hope we can really kick some ass next year. But looking at that schedule, it looks much more difficult than even this year. If Herm does hang around, he may have a hard time winning 6 games next year. At least our division sucks.

    3. Hard time winning 6 games?? Think it’s been tough enough for him to win 2 this year. We’ve only won 6 games in what, the last 31. I think we will be improved next year but we can’t play for 4 quarters, that’s our problem and I think our record will still look awful next year. Hope I’m wrong!!

    4. I was a Herm supporter up until last week. I just don’t have the patience for this anymore. So now I am saying it “lets do away with Herm” and try somebody else. Hopefully Bill Cowher.

I was at the game Sunday. My face has freezing wind burn (feels like a sunburn) and my lips are badly chapped. Man, I had a scarf for the game but my friend had a freakin’ seizure on the way to the game and it was on his seat, needless to say he pissed on it (during his seizure of course). I had to call an ambulance and follow them to the hospital, but after a 2 hour detour we both made it to the game barely in time to freeze our asses off and to watch them lose. It was still fun to watch our offense go to work that game though.

    5. I’ve been quite all season. After sunday’s loss there alot that needs said . First HERM has to go!!!! We have been in the last few games it’s piss poor coaching.I mean damn we’ve had a good lead. How many points do you have to have. Larry was working good second half pass pass pass we were’nt behind yet. Herm don’t have a clue . All we can hope is Herm is next.King Carl good bye we will smell you later.

    6. There’s only 2 “at large” games every year, so you really don’t get much of a break for having a bad record (we get other bottom dwellers Jacksonville and Buffalo). The rest of the schedule just has to do with the rotation of the AFC and NFC divisions year to year.

    7. Sorry about your friend and scarf, Chief Tom. Hopefully both are doing well now…. or maybe the scarf didn’t make it.

    8. Well, look on the bright side. We have a guranteed 2nd or 3rd pick next year. and with Carl gone, we have a better chance of not trading it away.

Now don’t everybod get uptight about next years opponents, every year is different, and just because they’re good this year doesn’t mean they will be next year. Look at the Saints a few years back, they made it to the NFC championship game and then they crapped out.

Maybe next year we could be this years Dolphins. From cellar to first in the division, it’s not unheard of and it’s not impossible the we can’t do the same. And since we don’t have a new GM as of yet, we won’t know how the draft will go, or what free agents we may pick up (Albert Haynesworth please), or even what trades we may make. I for one is keeping my fingers crossed but not getting my hopes up either.

    12. teams under 500 and some above are questioning whether they should change coaches===we have a coach who can’t win a game unless it is with a team with players from a previous coach==and we question if we should change coaches. we really are hicktown usa!!!!! chiefs/royals==welcome to the minor leagues

    13. I think the whole coaching staff needs to go! Sorry but Gunther needs to go to. Herm can be an idiot, but look at the last 7-8 games how many were lost ultimatly becuse our defense couldn’t shut anybody down! Lets see both Chargers games, New Orleans, Denver, Raiders, Buffalo, heck we should have won the Patriots game. Our offense has played pretty darn good since Huard went down and Bones took over. Now don’t get me wrong the offense did make some mistakes, and Bones made some mistakes, but look at all the games we could have won if our defense played like last year. I know we had some injuries, but we weren’t playing good defense before that either. We should be at least 7 and 8 right now easy. That is why I think that the whole coaching staff needs to go. We need new coaching, and I think we don’t have to do a major system overhaul. But if we do we have alot of young talent that can do what ever the new coaching staff installs.

    14. mdarooky, you make a good point. Hopefully, Clark will take a lesson learned from the Royals. I remember back in the day when the Royals were bigger than the Chiefs (1977-1985, take a look at their records then). After Kauffman died, the owners didn’t seem to care as long as they put the cheapest team on the field. Now look at them. I hope Clark doesn’t let that happen to our Chiefs, who will we cheer for then?

    15. All it means is that Denver, San Diego, and Oakland have to play the NFC East too meaning we beat them and we compete.

    19. Hey Guys…does one’s bad record even play into the making of your next years schedule anymore? Do they even do it that way anymore? Sh*t, the NFC East? Damn…How many teams over the years benefited from rebuilding PLUS a weak schedule…

AND…WTF how many years in a row have we played the damn Bengals? Four? Five? Sh*t, I’ve lost count and what’s the odds?!?!? Weird…
