Please let DT make it in. IMO, the only person who PROBABLY deserves it more than DT on this list is Cris Carter

Cris Carter…please. He was good but come on, give me a break. You seriously think Carter deserves the Hall more than #58? I can say with no hesitation that you’re wrong J Rock.

No one had more sacks in the 90′s than DT.

Key word BIG B. If you noticed I capitalized PROBABLY. He is the only one even close to DT on this list.

I think that these 3 will definitely get in- DT, John Randle, and Shannon Sharpe (maybe Richard Dent too).
If they screw DT over again this year then they need to throw out the people deciding who gets in, and bring in another group. That little bastard Adam Schefter is among the group, so we all know Shannon Sharpe is getting in this year (Bronco loving bastard)

He should get in–looking at the list. Other than DT, I think Bruce Smith will make it. I hope Sharpe has to wait. After all, DT has waited 5 years.

If DT doesn’t make it in it is an absolute testament to the NFL sh**ting on teams that don’t play in big media markets. Going strictly by the numbers put up and the type of character guy he was in K.C., i can’t believe it’s taken this long. I can’t think of any other reason why he would get snubbed. Not a good or valid reason at all, but jesus.

If a Donkey gets in before DT then the system is deinately controled by biased opinions…….I’m not saying that donkey boys wasnt good, he was, but the best tightend is a CHIEF and still playing!!!! And the best name on this years list IS a CHIEF!!!! 58FOREVER!!

Im tellin ya people, I am the biggest DT fan you will find in Southern California. I grew up watching him, he’s the reason I became a Chiefs fan (Him and Neil Smith) and he’s my all time favorite player. I miss the guy a lot and what he meant to this organization and it saddens me to see voters not elect the man for what he did, and what he meant to opposing teams. So many othes have made, and in fairness have earned their way as well. But in fairness to that, I can only have anger and frustration towards the people that do elect for the HOF. If DT never makes it in the HOF, I will never visit it nor support their cause and what they represent and will continue to bash them. DT DESERVES to be in, POINT BLANK!!! Honor the man will ya!!!

Jeff in VA, Bruce Smith slipped my eye, you’re right. What ever the case DT SHOULD get in. How come they always list DT as a LB. Everytime I saw him play on TV and at Arrowhead he was right side DE like the position Jared Allen played. I know that they did have him playing LB for a while, but he didn’t like it.

I didnt see Bruce Smith either. I thought he was in already.

Bob Gretz is the voting member for Kansas City and is responsible for presenting the case for DT58 to the HOF voters. Maybe he hasn’t been doing a good enough job!
I can’t believe Andre Tippett got in last year before DT.

Some people want Paul Tagliabue to get in this year. Don’t get me wrong, he was a good comissioner (spelling?), but I think the Hall should only be for players and Head Coaches.

Tell me how many DE’s have had seven sacks in one game? Enough said!

I hope that record never gets broken. Some dude got 6 last year (forgot who it was, maybe Vandenbosch?)
