[KC Chiefs.com] The Chiefs announced on Friday that the club has signed free agent TE Tony Curtis and that C Rudy Niswanger has signed his restricted free agent tender.
Curtis has seen action in 36 games during his three-year NFL career with Dallas.
Niswanger has played in 30 games during his previous three seasons with the Chiefs. He started 15 contests at center for Kansas City in 2008.

From CBS Sports…..
Chiefs add TE Curtis to roster:
A day after trading TE Tony Gonzalez to the Falcons, the club replaced him with ex-Cowboys TE Tony Curtis. Curtis pretty much was a No. 2 TE option for the Cowboys but did catch 11 passes for 80 yards and three touchdowns in his time there. He and Chiefs head coach Todd Haley worked together in Dallas in 2006.

Fantasy Analysis:
Curtis is a longshot to post even a sliver of the totals Gonzalez would have had in Kansas City, but he’ll be serviceable as a No. 2 tight end for them. For Fantasy, though, he’ll likely be useless. Keep him off of Fantasy rosters.

Every Cowboy fan I know thinks the world of Curtis. At worst he’s what this article says–a serviceable #2. I have a hunch he could be a fair bit more.
