Chiefs End OTA’s

[Chiefs Blog] The Chiefs entered summer vacation early Tuesday, as coach Todd Haley ended offseason practice two days early. He said the team had made enough progress these last two months that players deserved a break.

“We’ve made great progress,” Haley said.

That came with the condition, of course, that they keep up the work they had done in offseason drills and continuing to make progress toward their expected level of conditioning.

Haley put the team through a harsh conditioning test Tuesday, and he admitted that some players didn’t pass. Those players — and everyone who did pass Tuesday — will have to pass the same test in order to begin training camp with the team in River Falls, Wis.

    1. I know its hot and I know that Coach said that they had made great progress, but I don’t know if I agree with letting this team off two days early. Maybe he is just trying to play Mr. Nice Guy so the players don’t start acting like the Denver Broncos. I hope this team is ready for a long summer.
