[Kansas City.com] The Chiefs and seventh-round pick Ryan Succop agreed to contract terms Wednesday and are expected to finalize the three-year deal today, the playe’s agent told The Star.
Joel Turner, who also represents Chiefs quarterback Tyler Thigpen, would not reveal details of the contract beyond its duration. Media organizations in South Carolina, where Succop played college football, reported that the agreed-upon deal was worth up to $1.2 million over the life of the contract.
Succop becomes the first of eight drafted Chiefs players to agree to terms.
