This is unfortunately what I've come to expect from the Chiefs... I think Peterson and Edwards left this team in far worse shape than anyone expected. O-Line and D-Line are where we should develope first, then all the specialist. But without a decent O-Line Cassel may be spending all of his Sundays on his ass...

It sounds like you are asking them to take babysteps Chiefsfan 97. I don't blame you. I was thinking this team could turn it around and win 7 or 8 games, but with the problems with the coaching staff, a hurt $60 Million QB, our #1 WR in the dog house all summer with no experience with the QB, and one of the toughest schedules in the NFL, I think 2 wins sounds about right. All I know is that this sucks! I hate to give up on them before the season starts, but I don't see any signs of promise. I guess it was good we didn't trade Thigpen to Jacksonville for a 5th round pick, we are ging to need him.

Thank the lord. We had no offense to speak of this preseason and I blame Gailey and Haley both for that. Run, run, pass, punt is absolutely right. It doesn't seem like we will ever pass the ball consitantly. You think that we would at least try knowing that we can't run the ball that well with the makeshift line that we have. Also, we bring in 3 veteran WRs (Engram, Toomer & Lelie) and we're still running the ball. What is up with that? Will we ever try to throw the ball? I belive that Haley will try to run the offense and play head coach which isn't a good thing for the chiefs. I think our defense will have to hold teams to 10 points or less for us to win consitantly and I don't see that happening more than once or twice this year. Our defense is good and is our strong point but we're not that good yet to hold teams to 10 points or less. I think we're in for another long season but as a chiefs fan I think we're all use to struggling through the season. As long as we win more than 2 games this year than I will be happy but that might be asking a lot.

This is a great thing!!! However, who are they going to get this late in the pre-season. Less then 2 weeks before the season opener??? Pretty bold move. Hopefully Haley does not try to play head coach and offensive coordinator at the same time. That would spell disaster. However, anything is better then run, run, pass, punt.
