[KC Chiefs.com] The Chiefs announced on Tuesday that the club has made five transactions in anticipation of the NFL’s first mandatory cutdown deadline. All NFL teams are required to trim their roster down to 75 players today.

Kansas City released WR Amani Toomer, DE Alfonso Boone and T Cameron Goldberg. The club also placed WR Devard Darling on the Reserve/Injured List and RB Kolby Smith on the Reserve/Physically-Unable-to-Perform List.
