Chiefs Make Coaching Change

[Kansas City.com] Apparently frustrated with a lack of progress from the wide receivers, coach Todd Haley has made another staff change, replacing position coach Dedric Ward with Richie Anderson.

Anderson joined the Chiefs this year as a member of the NFL’s minority coaching fellowship program. A former NFL running back, he helped coach the wide receivers for the Jets in 2006.

Ward is still coaching for the Chiefs, but Anderson was running the receiver drills during the media portion of practice Thursday.

Haley wouldn’t comment even to confirm the move.

    1. I would like to make another coaching change. I will like to get ride of Todd Haley and bring in Bill Cowher. Haley doesn’t konw what it takes to win and he’s showing that each and every week with his stupidity. I’m making a push for Bill Cowher right now.

    6. Chiefsfan36, I am right behind you!!! Haley is an inexperienced loon!! He’s trying to make us worse by lowering the morale of each and every player by cussing them out and givng them dirty looks like some weirdo step-dad.

He’s unlikeable, irrational, incapable of motivating, leading, or teaching, and simply just not Kansas City Chiefs head coach material. Lamar deserves better than that. Lamar deserves a man with standards and patience and guidance, not to mention some friggin’ experience!! I’m usually not a “one-year and you’re out” kinda gal, not at all!! Not at all!! But I’m just not feelin’ it for this jackxss, haven’t been from the get-go, and it’s more than being winless, it’s him. He’s not a good fit for this organization. Gimme an oldie but a goodie, gimme Cowher, Shanahan, Holmgren, hell, even Gruden, shoot I’d take Mike Martz!! (sp?) I don’t care if we miraculously break 500 this season, he needs to leave or be demoted and let someone run the show WHO KNOWS HOW.

      GO CHIEFS!!!

    7. Haley does need to go! 1. He changes the offensive scheme right before the season 2. The team keeps trying to play the 3-4 without the proper personnel to do so and 3. NOTHING was done about the right side of the o line when they knew the cupboard was bare. Also, I will be at the game sunday. It will be my first live nfl game, so I hope to see all my fellow KC fans there
