I tend to agree with you "The Big Dawg" you cant be negative all week every week. The Chiefs have made some serious strides this year, and have played against some of the top teams in the league. Baltimore (we were a head, and could of won that game), Raid (should of won that game), Eagles (ok, that one was bad, but they are legit), NY Giants (we were even in that game late, wasn't pretty though), Cowgirls (we were so close), Washington (we won!).
Baltimore, NY Giants, Philly, and even Dallas are all playoff worthy teams. We were in almost all those games. Give it a break!

Am I the only one that is sick to death of this guy's negativity? It's one thing to be critical of your team and not be a homer with rose colored glasses, but to be this negative week in and week out when there has clearly been improvement is ridiculous. The Chiefs have been in every game this season except for the Giants and Eagles games. They should be 2-4 if one of the stupidest roughing the passer calls of all time isn't called against the Raiders, and they very easily could be 3-3 if they gain just 20 yards against the cowboys in overtime when they were at the 50. Ya they lost those games but they were trying to win and had a chance to win nearly all of them. So lets get some damn positive comments going on around here for once.

Cassel holds on to the ball too long? Really? Do you even watch the games? He has 1-2 seconds to throw! Cassel is pretty damn smart from what I can tell. Yeah he looked a little off Sunday but its not his fault he has literally NOTHING to work with. I bet he would be tearing it up if we still had Tony G, end of story.

I agree with the Oline but Cassel is worth every Penny he earns. He maybe has the most dangerous Job in the NFL and is hittet nearly every time he dropback to Pass. Johnson has made his best Game so far. He is on the downside of his Career but i didn't see our Running Game getting better with Charles.

I like the Win and i can see a lot of positiv progress going on here. I couldn't here these crying haters anymore.

It's not going to be a pretty season. If we get more wins than last year, it will be a major achievement. But th one bright spot I've seen so far this year is, this team doesn't give up. They play hard until the clock reads all zeroes, unlike under Herm when they would quit at halftime. That's a direct reflection of coaching.

First off, was this game pretty? No, not at all, BUT it was a win!!! I have gotten used to hearing all the negativity that goes with this team. I guess that comes with having a 3-28 record over the last 31 games. I know the Chiefs didn't play the best game yesterday, but come on, give them a break...THEY WON!!! Is there still a lot of work to be done before this team can win on a regular basis? Of course, but this is an organization that has been struggling for a long time from top to bottom, and when they finally get a win, we are still reading about all the NEGATIVE things.

I agree with most of the points in your article, but when you get your first win in almost a year, there comes a point where you just have to set the negativity and criticism aside and say, "Hey, we WON today!!!"

I couldn't agree more that we lack talent, but I think being critical of L.J. and Cassel is wrong. You counter dict yourself when you talk about how horrible the offensive line is, and how many sacks they are giving up, and then are critical of Cassel.
I don't think that's fair. Until he is given a legit chance behind a decent line, its unfair to say he wont amount to anything.
The fact that he has kept us in games, hasn't turned the ball over, and has stood in and tried to make plays around that offensive line is great. I am very excited by Matt Cassel.
LJ on the other hand is on the downward part of his career, but still cant be expected to break 3 tackles on every play to get positive yards.
Winning games starts in the trenches, and on both sides of the ball we are either too young or we are not talented enough. Once that changes our skill players will start to show it the talent and promise they have. Give it time.
Everyone enjoy this weeks victory. It wasn't against a good team, but a "W" is a "W" and we deserve a win.
Its not going to change the season, and we still aren't very good, but its close... we are close.
