[KC Chiefs.com] The Chiefs announced today that the club has signed free agent DT Kenny Smith to the 53-man roster. The club also added DT Marlon Favorite to the practice squad.

Smith played in 30 games with New Orleans from 2001-2004 and attended the Patriots training camp in 2007 and 2008. Favorite entered the NFL as a rookie free agent with Carolina in 2009 and attended training camp with the Panthers.
