You know I kinda liked watching a player put out some effort. He has weak hands but he can improve on that. Lets hope for a Wes Welker slot guy. That would be awesome. And yes way better than Ingram.

Actually I have been a fan for over 20 years. Thank you very much. I also know that they are bad and understand that. Yes very bad. But my point is how do you type on here and point out Cassell’s name and Haley for the bad part of this team. Maybe Bowe catching a dang ball would help or Waters caring about this team anymore or even all the other Herm Edwards players caring. That would make a difference. I do agree that we are terrible but your comments make it seem that we shouldn’t be right now, which is plain not logical. Give them a chance to get their players in and get their line built up. Sometimes you get the franchise qb before the line is good. Example A: Peyton Manning. His line sucked when he started and when they built it up with talent such as Ryan Lilja(go K state). He became possibly the best qb in the history of the game. Not saying Cassell is that but give him a chance.

First of all, I’ve been a diehard chiefs fan for over 12 years (through good times, bad times & now horrible times). I have yet to see a single playoff win throughout that entire time and yet I continue support this team but you have to be honest with yourself and realize this team is plain awful right now in every facet of the game. Name me one bright spot or a consistant player on this team right now? Our best player is our punter. Come on!!! What I want to know is how long have most of you guys been fans? It seems like most of you guys on this website are new fans and don’t really know the history of this team. Are you guys even watching the games? Just because you’re a fan doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be upset and voice your opinion about the Ineptitude (which means uselessness, Incompetence, lack of ability and skill) of this team. If you can’t look at Matt Cassell’s play and realize he isn’t producing than you’re not being honest with yourself. If he’s any good at all he would find some sort of success but has he so far. A resounding NO. Infact, Brodie Croyle moved the ball better when he was under center and nobody can argue that. I’m not say Brodie is better than Matt but he can move the ball better and has a quicker releasse. I believe that when Matt Cassell was with the Patriots last year he was one of the most sacked QB’s in the league. He isn’t mobile at all and takes to long to get the ball out. Also look at the LJ drama going on right now. It goes from bad to worse week by week. Of course I will stand by this team but to defend them in any way right now is just pure stupidity plain and simple. Trust me when I say at the end of the year not one person on this website will defend this team when it comes to are play on the field. I mean do you think the detroit lions fans were defending the fact that they were just Horrendous last year. Again a resounding No. To be honest I’ve never seen this team play this bad and it just hurts me and I have to be honest about it. That is all I’m doing is being honest nothing more.

JoeCJ is spot on! Cassel was 10-5 as a first year starter on a good team. He can do the same here, if we can get the players in. Haley got rid of half the bad players Herm had in there. They all need another year to get “their” type players. I’m holding out on my opinion of Haley until next year. To my knowledge, no new coach has ever turned a 2-14 team around in one year. We still have Herm Edwards taste in our mouth.
Tony wanted out and knew this was a rebuilding time for the Chiefs. I don’t blame him at all. I wish he would have stayed, thats for sure.

You guys are completely ridiculous if you think that the Chiefs were going to be good this year in any fashion. How can you say that Cassell is a bad qb. I’m not saying he is great or bad. You don’t know. Its like telling someone they are a bad salesman when they can’t sell a bag a manure. Give Haley, Pioli, and Cassell a break. He has that poor of numbers because we have no o line talent. Just be a fan and wait it out. Give it a break. It makes me sad to be a Chiefs fan because of our fans. Give it a chance please.

I think our DT Ron Edwards put it best when he said, “It’s real painful” after the loss on Sunday to the San diego Chargers. There is no better word to describe how it feels right now to be a chiefs fan (painful). Todd Hailey is pure garbage and we need to replace him right away. This guy was supposed to be an offensive genious and we have yet to score more than 27 points in a game and have yet to look really good offensively in a snigle game this year. Infact I would have so say that we have no offense to speak of at all right now (We can’t run the ball or pass the ball). Lets not talk about special teams. I also, think that Matt Cassell is just awful. How do you have only 97 passing yards in an entire football game? In my humble opinion you’re not a very good pro QB if you have those type of stats. I mean this guy was suppose to save our franchise and he can’t even beat the raiders. There is no excuse right now but more of a lack of accountablity. I think from what I’ve seen so far that this will go down as the worst season in chiefs history. The really sad thing is that we had a better team last year and had a chance to win more games. I really don’t have anymore words to describe how upset I am with this team and organization right now. Just plain awful and painful.
