[Chiefs Blog] The Chiefs added a wide receiver Tuesday, after they were awarded former San Diego wideout Chris Chambers after putting in a waiver claim.

Chambers was waived Monday after two-plus seasons with the Chargers. He spent his first seven seasons with Miami.

Chambers, who was named to the 2005 Pro Bowl, had just nine catches in seven games with San Diego.
