Why would vilma leave a team that may potentially end the season undefeated and creation of a potential dynasty with the way the saints are playing this year. If he left it would prove that the players are only worried about making the most money! I love DJ! I wrote Vermeil a letter before the draft that year saying we need him in red and maybe (very doubtful) I made a difference in getting him there. I have met DJ after the thanksgiving game vs Denver a few years ago at a hotel where his family was staying and had breakfast with him. Awesome guy, great character, amazing player! We just need to give him a chance, vrabel isn’t getting any younger by the way.

Dont get me wrong. I think DJ is a stud and could be with the right personal. No way the Chiefs get Willis/Beason or Vilma. We had our shot with Vilma a couple years ago. Granted we have a different GM and Coach, but I think hes happy in NO.

DJ may not be the star one thought he could be, but if it is a trade just to get rid of him I say no. First, I don’t want him out; but if the staff sends him elsewhere, it is for the shot at a Beast like Willis/ Beason (the type of player not them :: they won’t go) through the draft or player for player. I still think that with an appropriate front 3 or front 4 he can be a stud. Look at Vilma in NO.

I actually was thinkin that with Priest Holmes, bring him in to coach Jamal Charles. They are very similar. Its obvious that Haley doesnt feel Derrick Johnson fits their Defensive scheme, possibilty of a trade?

Well I liek Saunders too but would he come. Why not Bringing Rich Gannon or Trent Green ?? I think they would be quite a good QB coach to start with.

The connections are all there. I would like it too. The problem is, I think, Haley likes calling plays. I have supported Haley to this point, but I think he needs a OC. If he can’t give up calling plays, then he should go back to be an OC.

I don’t think it will happen during the season. Maybe they will hire him as a consultant or something until the end of the year.

Weis would be a great addition to the staff.We just need some more play makers on the Offense. Any chances of the Chiefs picking Miles Austin or Boldin?. I think Bowe, Austin and Chambers in the slot would be just enough. Jamal Charles is starting to shine, and if we could get better at the line KC could compete next season.

Bring in Weis!!! He is the best person available for the OC position. If we had two offensive masterminds like Weis and Haley together, our offense will be very impressive.

He would be a GREAT addition to the organization, but I trust that the powers that be, are taking us in the right direction and they will find the right fit when it is time.
