[ChiefsWarpath.com] The Chiefs today signed running back Kestahn Moore, a rookie undrafted free agent, according to a league source.
The 5’10″, 212 pound Moore spent four years at the University of Florida where he averaged 5.6 yards per carry and scored six rushing touchdowns during his junior season in 2007.
To make room for Moore the Chiefs released nose tackle Kenny Smith.

Who do you expect to pick up in week 14 of a season?

BIOGRAPHY: Used as part of Florida’s rotational system at running back the past four years. Senior ground totals included 29/142/4. Posted 104/578/6 as a junior when he was an all-Conference selection.
POSITIVES: Well-built running back best on the inside. Displays good vision, finds the cutback lanes, and effectively uses blocks. Displays a burst through the hole, and is a solid receiver out of the backfield. Sees the blitz and picks up blocking assignments.
NEGATIVES: Not a smooth cutback runner, and loses a lot of momentum when he tries to change direction. Has been mostly a part-time player in the Gators offense.
ANALYSIS: Moore has the size and skill to get consideration as a fourth back at the next level. His ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and block on passing downs could help him stick on a roster

you would not sign a Shaun Alexander for 1 year????

Well yeah I would sign Alexander only if it were after the SEahawks first released him. To much time has gone by so he wouldn’t even be productive anymore.

might as well give this young guy a chance. Maybe he’ll turn into a diamond in the ruff.
