[ESPN.com] ESPN is reporting that the Arizona Cardinals have traded receiver Anquan Boldin to the Baltimore Ravens for third and fourth round draft picks, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

Boldin, who was entering the final year of his contract, agreed to a three-year, $25 million extension with the Ravens, according to league sources, which leaves him with four years, $28 million left on his contract. The extension includes $10 million in guaranteed money.

The Ravens, Chiefs and Patriots had all reportedly proposed trade offers to the Cardinals for Boldin.

    2. We should have traded the 2nd round pick we got from the Falcons, for Tony, to get Anquan!!!

    3. Just relax…pioli isnt dumb, he wants to build through the draft

    4. it would be nice if they actually rebuilt with draft picks. Other than Hali, i can’t think of another impact player they have drafted. ok,maybe flowers is an impact player too. The three headed LSU draft picks havent done crap. Bowe drops too many passes, dorsey cannot get to the quarterback, and dorsey is a flat out bust. DRAFT + FREE AGENCY = COMPETITIVE FOOTBALL TEAM. The Chiefs havent had a decent free agent pick up since Priest Holmes, and before that Rison, Allen, and Montanna.

    5. i meant jackson is a flat out bust. dorsey is below average, not a bust.

    6. I think calling Jackson and Dorsey below average at this point isn’t the right thing to do. Bowe did drop a lot of balls I’d like to see him working on that in the off season. Jackson this was his first year and to be fair it was a hard year for all the players with the coaching and player personal changes happening all the time. Jackson and Dorsey have new systems to learn and they may play more into their strengths. Most of the time you have to give a player 3 years before you can really say wither he is a bust or not which is what makes building though the draft so hard. That’s my biggest problem with the contracts draft picks sign because you haven’t proven anything on the field in an NFL game yet and you are getting paid these huge contracts. I think we have taken a big step in the right direction with the new coaches and I am hoping that translates into some more on field success for us this year but only time will tell.

    7. I haven’t gotten on this site for months and this is the exact reason, because some of our so called “fans” give up instantly. I mean, are you people successful in your own lives when you give up on a player after 1 season in the league? Pioli’s not going to act fast on anything, when you do that you end up paying too much for what you get. He’s cool, calm and collected and this is only year 2 of his reign so chill out.

    8. Building through the draft is really working out for us. It seems as though every year we are getting closer and closer to the number one pick in the draft. Maybe if we rebuild through the draft one more year and keep signing players like RB Jackie Battle on the biggest day of free agency, we will get that number one draft pick next year! Everyone saying be patient….. this free agent class is one of the smallest in history. Be patient so that all of the good players are gone? Doesn’t make sense to me.

    9. how patient do dome of you fans expect us to be. four straight years with under 6 wins. i sit here and watch other teams rebuild within three years (SAINTS, FALCONS, DOLPHINS, JETS, VIKINGS). these teams three years ago were in the same spot as kc, yet they manage to improve drastically because they are agressive and active in free agency. i understand there is a new staff and scheme here, but if they do not win at least 4 more games this year, it is a failure. i have been patient enough. i am 28 years old and the last time i saw kc win a playoff game i was 10 years old. arent we all “being patient!”

    11. i agree. name a team last year that went to the playoffs that was not active in free agency. you cant. free agency is just as important as the draft, if not more. you dont want to be the redskins and grab every single free agent and overpay, but you also dont want to be a triple a team for the rest of the nfl, i.e. the royals. by the way, i love the royals, and i do not want to chiefs to be the royals of the nfl.

    12. Jason La Canfora just reported that the chiefs are interested in signing thomas jones. could be the next marcus allen type running back to run for three years with the team.
