I don’t have a problem with resigning DJ. I feel he has been the product of coaching changes and different defensive schemes. It’s really harder on LB’s to adjust to new coaching styles and schemes. It’s more difficult than most people realize,they are the QB’s of the defense, not only are they responsible for their reads and gab responsibilities, but they are also responsible for the other positions on the defense, making sure everyone is line up correctly and orchestrating their core movement on any given play. I say this only because I feel he has the talent and skills to be a top LB, I would hate to see him reach his potential on another team especially after we’ve already invested plenty of time and money. We have a good defensive coordinator now, let’s see if it we can utilize his play making ability and start getting some returns on our investment. We’ve seen what he is capable of doing, I think one more year is a chance worth taking.

Def happy they are bringing DJ back..He showed what he is capable of doing towards the end of the season.

Anyword on when the prime time games this season are to be released? I thought they were supposed to be last week then I heard it got pushed up a week..

If KC has atleast 2 primetime games Id be happy. Its been years since theyve been on MNF..I think with the emergence of Jamaal Charles the NFL would be smart to put them on a couple..Im thinking the NFL has pushed the release back because they are stalling for 1) they are waiting on old ass Favre to announce wether he is coming back or not and 2) the trouble Big Ben has been in..the dont want to award his ill moraled self the gift of Prime Time..

Since when is players signing their tenders being considered the team re-signing them? Most players despise it, surely DJ does. Who is the moron who wrote this report? DJ is way too inconsistent and not a true team guy, and probably not worth whatever his asking price is. He will be gone after the upcoming season. Oh and Ndukwe “re-signing,” big friggin deal.

Glad we got DJ back. I think Romeo will know how to get the most out of him. He’ll be on the field more this year, where we need him.
