Come out with the prime time games already..Very surprised we are not playing the Rams this year in preseason.

I gues we play Rams in the regular season this yr, I sure hope we get some prime time this yr, It chaps my ass to see that every yr the same teams get prime time like raiders, cowboys, broncos, etc.
Last yr we didnt have anything, I guess it’s ok since our yr wasnt very good, but this coming up season i expect a much better team, more wins, and
Im hoping for 2 primetime games this yr! GO CHIEFS!

Man, I can’t remember the last time we had a primetime game. It’s been like 3 years I think? Does anybody know?

We have to earn these prime time games if we are losing i don’t want to see it. But with all the changes we should get at least one

Thats not true there have been teams the past couple seasons who were not any better then KC and got atleast one…The problem is the media doesnt want to have midwest teams on prime time..

The Bears are a mid western team that gets a lot of prime time. The thing is it’s all about big market teams and ratings. KC is not a big market team and also a losing team recently. In my opinion that is why we get no prime time love.

No the problem is that the media dosen’t like the kansas city CHIEFS AND THATS THAT…..

I think our last primetime game was when we beat the donkeys on thanksgiving like 4 years ago
Comment by NCCHIEFSFAN — April 7, 2010 @ 2:39 pm
Could be correct on that NCCHIEFSFAN..
I read today on inside on espn that the Chiefs are looking pretty heavily at Jared Gaither from the Ravens..He is a very good young tackle..His stats the last 2 years are amazing..On 300 run plays last year he won 85% of his blocks..Thats insane…The Chiefs have two second round picks..They NEED to do this then draft Berry..
I will be very disapointed if they draft someone as a “reach” like they did with Tyson Jackson last year..Not at the 5 spot you need to draft Berry/Suh/McCoy or trade out.
I have a feeling KC has atleast 2 primetime games this year..One against a AFC West foe and one against NFC opponent.

To answer the last primetime the Chiefs played it was in December of 06 they played the Raiders on a Saturday night and they also had the playoff game against the Colts that year but the last home primtime game was the thanksgiving game against the Broncos in 06. I dont see the Chiefs getting any primetime games again this year they always get the screws put to them.

Travis that primetime 06 game vs the Broncos was on the NFL network, so does that really count since it’s not on regular cable?
Comment by James — April 9, 2010 @ 10:51 pm
James you are right that was an nfl network game but they also aired it on fox for those that didnt have the nfl network wow then maybe the last primetime game they played was a sat game against the Raiders on Christmas day in 04 they also hosted the Patriots on Monday night football in november of 04 way to long since they have had a monday night game at arrowhead
