    2. Trying not to get too excited until the contract is signed sealed and delivered. It would definitely fill a huge need! I gave our team a B+ this would up it to an A- finding a solid MLB would definitely give us an A+ IMO. Not sure if Tino Samoa is available but thought he was a descent LB for the Rams, I think they released him last year have not heard anyone picking him up but would like to see us give him a shut.

    3. I want to know why Jacksonville cut him? Is he washed up?

    4. He has had a past with steroids and a bad attitude. He isn’t washed up at all they just drafted 4 d linemen. And yes we need an inside linebacker. I am not sure if there are any available at this time without a trade.

    5. I hear that Green Bay aren’t sold on AJ Hawk, and was looking to maybe work a trade or may release him before the season starts, I think he would be an upgrade.

    6. Hey Ed I hope we can get him and that A- grade.

    7. Actually wasn’t Marcus Stroud the one that had a bad attitude and the problem with Roids but yeah this would be an awesome pick up for us.

    8. He has to be better than what we have now. Sometimes a new start changes the players entire look out on the game.

    9. I was baffled why Pioli didn’t draft any NT or ILB. Now I think I see what he was doing. He apparently didn’t like what was there and knew some good NTs and ILBs would be cut for the ones that were drafted, Henderson being one of them.

    10. Id be all for getting AJ Hawk…Jon Henderson i wouldnt mind either. Hes 31, still has a few years left in him. Could solidfy our Dline for the season. I think hes better then Ron Edwards.

But if KC could get AJ Hawk Id be all over that jersey…The Chiefs never get a OSU Buckeye great..Sure we got Donald McDonald(DB) but ehh so so..

    11. What about Adalias Thomas? I thought the Chiefs may be ontop of that considering our connection with the Pats. Thomas would fill the ILB spot…

    12. A.J. Hawk is not going anywhere. That is a bunch of wishful thinking. We need another good edge rusher to help Tamba Hali more than anything. He was the only guy getting heat on the qb last year.

    13. I’m sure Pioli had something to do with Adalius Thomas going to the Patriots. He wasn’t as productive as anticipated for whatever reason, so I doubt he will make the same mistake twice.

    14. If John Henderson is the guy with the bad attitude, and that was part of the Jags’ decision to cut him, this sounds like one of Pioli’s Randy Moss/Corey Dillon “second chance” pickups. Our new sense of character (and hopefully pride) that comes with our product on the field may cause Henderson to follow suit.

    15. AJ Hawk may not be going anywhere, but the same could be said about Cutler and Marshall. I agree we do need some help to compliment Hali on the ends but the same could be said about other positions on this team, let’s not forget we were a team that won only 4 games and 2 games before that. IMO we need core players than can change the mind-set of a team that has gotten used to the idea that losing is OK. Saying that I do believe we are heading in the right direction, picking up Berry, Weigman, Lilja, and Thomas is a nice combination of youth and veterans all IMO are core players that can bring that kind of mind-set this team so desperately need. But the best move so far in the off season IMO is hiring Weis & Crennel.

    16. I’ll admit I was a bit baffled by our draft since I had not heard of most of them. Now that I have had a chance to review thier bio’s it is apparent where they are trying to take the team. You can’t fix everything immediately but I like the direction we are going. We will be a much more dangerous team this year. We have lost quite a few games over the past two years late in the game. I don’t think that is going to continue.
Despite his issues in Jax in REALLY like the idea of adding Henderson. He’s just big and bad, he plays mean. He is an intimadator, we need a guy like that. Maybe he could teach Dorsey something.

    17. They just reported on ESPN he is NOT coming to visit KC today..Its starting to look highly unlikely he’ll be a Chief.

    18. Who knows???

    19. Everything happens for a reason… I’m confident that at the end of the day they will have a product on the field this year that we all will proud of! God I hope I’m right LOL
