[Kansas City.com] The Chiefs signed their first draft choice Tuesday, more than two months after he was selected. Kansas City signed fifth-round safety Kendrick Lewis, the first member of the team’s class to agree to terms.
The team didn’t specify contract terms in a release announcing the signing.
Lewis, a 6-foot and 198-pound safety, was the 136th overall pick in April’s NFL draft.

Hope we can get them all signed before camp. I’m ready to get this season started.

That would be wishful thinking to have all our picks signed before camp..Id love it, but it never happens..There will be that “one” guy who comes into camp late..I just want Berry, McCluster and Arenas signed before and Ill be happy. Other than that I think we are looking at our team going into the season, I dont think we will be signing any other FAs from here on out..Besides some no names..

Lets get em inked and trained. We have to beat some living legends like Manning and Brady to get to where we want to go. Cassel needs to have a big year with D. Bowe, J. Charles and company. It’s time for the Chiefs to get back in the hunt. We have gone to long without a playoff win and I want some positive excitement this year.
