[KC Chiefs.com] The Chiefs announced the signing today of wide receiver Dexter McCluster and nickel back Javier Arenas, ensuring that they will be able to participate when the Chiefs begin training camp Friday at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.

Six of the Chiefs’ seven draft picks are under contract. Still unsigned is safety Eric Berry of Tennessee, the first-round pick. The Chiefs have yet to announce that third-round guard Jon Asamoah has agreed to terms, but the NFL’s transactions report shows he has signed his contract.

The Chiefs also signed tight end Leroy Banks. Banks spent some time practicing with the Chiefs during the off-season before being released.

    1. Awesome! I love that they will be there for training camp..Now if we can get Berry and Asamoah we will be set..Im so pumped for the season to start. Its crazy to think that most of our draft picks will be, or for the most part starting. Pioli is really paving the way for a great KC team in the near future..In most cases having alot of Rookies starting could spell trouble, but they seem to be the type of players that can catch on quickly and help KC win some football games..Besides Berry, I think McCluster, Arenas/ and Moeki will be the answer the Chiefs have been looking for.
