[Kansas City.com] Chiefs defensive back Maurice Leggett was carted off the field late in the third quarter of tonight’s game in Tampa Bay with an apparent neck injury. The training staff tended to Leggett, a third-year defender, for about 10 minutes before he was placed on a backboard and lifted onto the cart.

Leggett appeared to be injured while trying to tackle Buccaneers running back Kareem Huggins when his head snapped back. The Chiefs haven’t announced specifics regarding the injury, which occurred with 6 seconds remaining in the third quarter.
