There’s considerable progress, but I think considerable progress means 8-8ish and 3rd in the division (though I’m not discounting Denver’s potential to completely tank).

I am more optimistic when it comes to this season. I am not throwing in the towel before we have even played a regular season snap. This team has potential and will surprise people this year. I am sure there will be some let downs as well, but by no means should anyone be in “bashing mode” after three preseason games.

Don’t forget that teams have gone 1-3 or 0-4 in the preseason, yet during the regular season they surprised everyone and had a respectable record.

I agree, there are still quite a few weak spots and holes with this team, but I am a believer that we will be better this year than we were last year. In my mind, that is all we can ask for…a better product than we have previously seen.
