[KC Chiefs.com] The Chiefs confirmed today that linebacker Cameron Sheffield was released from the hospital.
Sheffield, who suffered a neck injury on what appeared to be a helmet-to-helmet hit while making a tackle in Friday night’s preseason game against Philadelphia, was immobilized and carried off the field. He has movement in all of his extremities, the Chiefs said.
He was the second Chiefs player in two weeks to suffer a neck injury that required him to be taken off the field on a stretcher. Corneback Maurice Leggett suffered a similar injury at Tampa Bay. Leggett was on the sidelines against Philadelphia but did not play.

This is good news I saw the hit and the aftermath….not pretty. On a side note, when I go to read a story on my iPod touch all I get is an untitled page. Don’t know if it’s my iPod or your site. MOBILE VERSION PLZ! hehe that would be awesome as I read your site daily from work on my iPod.
