[KC Chiefs.com] The Chiefs released WR Lance Long on Tuesday morning to bring the club’s roster total down to 75 active players. Today is the first of two cut-down days this week for each of the NFL’s 32 teams. The NFL mandates that each club trim its roster again on Saturday to get down to 53 players.
Long played in seven games with Kansas City in 2009, catching 20 passes for 178 yards.
well damn, i was hoping he would turn out to be our Wes Welker. Lance Long is a cool name too.
