[Kansas City.com] The Chiefs made the necessary roster moves on Saturday evening to reach the NFL’s mandatory 53-man roster.
The Chiefs released 13 players:
G Colin Brown
DT Garrett Brown
DE/DT Dion Gales
T Bobby Greenwood
G Darryl Harris
LB David Herron
DT Derek Lokey
S DaJuan Morgan
QB Tyler Palko
S Ricky Price
WR Verran Tucker
LB Pierre Walters
RB Javarris Williams
In addition, the club placed CB/S Maurice Leggett and WR Jerheme Urban on the Reserve/Injured List.
The Chiefs also traded S Jarrad Page to New England in exchange for an undisclosed draft selection.
T Rich was release by the Jets today. Wouldn’t it be nice to bring him back so he could retire as a Chief? I bet he would take a pay cut to retire here. Also, 3 or 4 QBs that are better than Palko were released too. I suspect we’ll be picking one of them up.

I would love to see T-Rich back in a Chiefs uniform. He’s one of my all-time favorites.
