[Kansas City.com] Outside linebacker Andy Studebaker confirmed Thursday that he and the Chiefs agreed to a contract extension that will keep him in Kansas City for “hopefully a long time,” he said.
Studebaker, a converted defensive end who joined the Chiefs in 2008, agreed to the deal earlier this week. Neither Studebaker nor his agent, Josh Wright, would reveal the terms of the extension.
Studebaker’s previous contract was set to expire after this season, and Wright said it was important to get something worked out early.
“Nobody wanted it to be a distraction,” he said.

Very good news! Studebaker is solid on special teams and has filled in very well for Vrabel at times!

I hate being a Monday Quarterback, but can the Chiefs please get Jamaal Charles more involved in the offense. Also, Dextor McCluster is so electric. Why is he not a part of the offense. This team could be real good if they used their best players.
