I like our chances against the Texans. 1st, we showed the NFL our defense is legit against the Colts…Before the season started i thought Colts and Texans would be a loss..KC played very well against Indy, obviously we need to play better in the passing game. The Texans are banged up, and if we can exploit that KC should come away with a win..

I agree. And if Bowe can catch a pass we should be golden!!!

Matt Cassell needs to start playing better now! Bowe should have caught those balls, no doubt about it, but Cassell needs to step up his game now.
This is a damn good team with a lot of potential!

Romeo has the defense up to speed and than some! Give Charlie a few more weeks and the offense will be too. Remember two things. Defense wins championships and this is the kind of loss that stings. Trust me, Bowe and the rest of the offense are hurting and they will not want to feel this way again any time soon!!!

so far d. bowe has been a bust, he had a pretty good rookie yr and every since then he has not shown any progression towards being an elite WR. Perhaps he needs to stop organizing the logistics for groupies and start working on his hands. The size and strength is there but the work ethic needs improvement. One more thing, I am strong believer in getting points when you can get them, especially in the 1st quarter, to not get any points on the first drive was sort of a bummer and it kinda came back to haunt us. All and all the chiefs are definitely headed in the right direction.

yeah, unfortunately I’d have to say that D Bowe lost the last one for us. I’ve been hopin he”d come around…and ignoring what others have said…but it’s time to face it…D Bowe has got to GO!!! Cassell hasn’t proven himself much either but he needs what all QB’s need a taste of success, a little confidence, and some chemistry with a dependable reciever.

So I think we proved we were a better team than Indy, we just gave too many chances. D-Bowe is not panning out, and I think he already has 4 drops. It was costly drop in the end zone. I tell you what though, our defence showed guts and challenged the best QB to play the game. What a future we have in front of us, and I am so excited to watch these kids grow. I am a believer regardless if we go 8-8. We are going to dominate next game. Cassell needs more confidence in himself, and I think he needs to run around a little bit. Go Chiefs!!

+Much props to the awesome Defense!
+D-Bowe, Get your head out of the clouds and in the game where it belongs.
You are too great a talent to be playing like a chump. Taking an entire team effort and personally flushing it down the stool.
+Cassell, keep growing into those shoes you are wearing. We know that you have had the snot beat out of you in the last couple of years. All those sacks will do that to your confidence and poise. But get over it now and GROW…you have an awesome O-line in front of you. Work it. You show flashes of very good things.
+Chiefs, thanks for making football fun in KC again and, make the Texans the proud owners of another loss this Sunday.

man, D-Bowe better become Jerry Rice real fast because he’s already out of here after the season pretty much. Nothing pisses off Haley more than a receiver that can’t catch. I think he will be gone sad to say. Dude just can’t hang on to the ball. Those two drops in a row against the Colts probably pretty much sealed it, he does that sh*! way to much for a pro that gets paid millions just to MAINLY CATCH THE BALL! That first one he dropped that would have been a TD was unexcusable the ball landed right in both hands. I’m convinced that if he would have caught that it would have changed the course of the rest of the game in the Chiefs favor.

as long as he don’t go anywhere he can be able to beat us the fine let haley cut him next year and be public ineme number 1

I am just as disappointed with Bowe as most! However, thats give him a little more time. T.O. droped a ton of balls early in his career and he turned in to one of the premier wide outs in the game. Also, Bowe is not nearly the headache that T.O. is. Finally, I doubt Haley cuts hime because he loves Bowe for being a great Team Player, and he is also the best blocking receiver in the game! Bowe will have a good bounce back game this Sunday and should be solid by the end of the season!!!

DC Chief- T.O. still drops a ton of balls! He always has. And D-Bowe is not a great team player at all. Last year he got suspended for 4 games and every year but this year he has showed up unprepared for training camp. Haley doesn’t like him. Mark my words, unless he starts doing really good he will be out of KC. I think Cassel needs to step it up too, but I also think we got some receivers not getting open enough.

Public Ineme? Are we gonna bend him over with a tube and….wait….
Next season, D-Bowe = OUT
Next Draft – We’d better be looking at QB’s I have absolutely 0 faith in Cassel, he’s had 4 games to show us something and only one (against a horrid 49ers) did he show a glimpse of what he SHOULD be doing EVERY game. Denard Robinson needs to be in Chiefs Red after he enters the draft!
Comment by Gonzo Left My Momma! — October 16, 2010 @ 5:57 pm
And all you Cassel lovers out there, he only did good in NE because of the talent that surrounded him. Other than that he’s showed jack and s*^t
