Sick of being burned by ficticious pass interference calls that cost us the game. First in Texas then in Oakland. Both third or fourth and long…we stop them cold and get flagged for totally imagineary holding or pass interference calls that allowed the drive to continue to our defeate. On both occasions, even the game announcers were perplexed. Chiefs should be 7-1…what do you have to say for yourselves mafia? I mean NFL refs?
Comment by Big Chief JJ — November 9, 2010 @ 3:05 pm
Besides any bad calls the refs made, the run back to begin the second half didn’t help, or the fumble on the ensuing kickoff, or the interception in the red zone, or the penalty to take us out of field goal range. Bottom line, the offense didn’t score enough and the defense gave up too much. The team lost the game.
I think we should still be ranked higher than them.

We are still a young and inconsistent team that struggles on the road. We lost that game in the 1st half when we did’nt score the two times at the end of the half inside their 20. We are getting better every week, should win the division this year with unlimited potential for the future!!!

Well stated DC Chief.

I respect Todd Hailey and love what he has brought to the team, but too many times he has taken points off the board in a 4th down attempt. The 3 points that we didn’t get earlier in the game sure would have changed Oaklands play calling at the end of regulation. They would have needed a TD to win instead of just 3 to tie.
Comment by WesternKsChief — November 9, 2010 @ 9:44 pm
Yea I am surprised that Haley keeps going for it on 4th down, especially since our percentages of getting it are bad. Those choices hurt us bad against Indy, and I think its what caused the Bills game to be so close as well as the Raider game. Bowe dropping that pass in his chest near the 2 minute mark didnt help either, we lost to a good team ( I cant believe i just called the Raiders a good team). Whats scary is that we need to win these close games so we can have some sort of chance to get SOME home field advantage when (or if) we make the playoffs. San Diego is starting to win again, plus the Raiders are hot, we need to get on a winning streak if we really want to win the division. LET’S GO CHIEFS WE CAN DO THIS!

I may be wrong, but I don’t recall missing a 4th down in field goal range in this game. I remember getting a penalty in field goal range and having to punt.
I just realized the donkeys had a week off to prepare for the game against us. The NFL should not schedule a bye week to a team that will be playing a division opponent afterwards–it’s not fair.
Comment by Jeff in VA — November 9, 2010 @ 10:40 pm
We have to start winning games on the road or we will not last long in the playoffs (if we make it)…KC better start figuring out their weaknesses real fast because we all know the Bolts are hot on our trail. The D played well and lets be honest and Im not being biased but the Raiders did get lucky. Ford beat the Chiefs, not McFadden and not their D. The ball landed in his hands on more then one occasion that lead to points. For the most part I am very happy the way KC has played this season and with our schedule I see us in the playoff hunt, but again we HAVE to win road games. On a side note why are they throwing the ball before the 1st down marker to none playmaking recievers (Chambers, Pope)? Put the ball in Charles, Jones or Moeki hands after the 1st down marker..Those types of plays drive me nuts. I think the positive thing we can take out of this is we took Oakland to OT at their house, when they come to Arrowhead I think we win by two 2tds and sometimes you need to lose to remember what it feels like and build off of it..We are 5-3, and have the potential to win the next 4 games making us 9-3, I think we lose @ SD, going 9-4 and then have a good shot at going 12-4 or 11-5. Oakland I believe will lose 5 more games this season loses to Pitt, @SD, Indy, Miami and @ KC..Finishing up their season 7-9. San Diego has a fairly easy schedule themselves and I think they could literally lose one game and thats to Indy..So Keep it up KC dont let them Bolts catch up..No playing for wildcard crap, win the Division and we are safe!

listen guys!! I was at the raider game on sunday and even the fans knew they stole one!! those penalty flags were flyin more thanthe rain did!!! and ALSO we are winning the division we are 1and 1 in our division right now we are gonna bust the donkeys asses on sunday!! jacoby ford made some spectacular plays against us but, that was all luck!! when the raiders come home to arrowhead watch what happens!! that team really sucks but, we beat ourselves. D. bowe is a bust and i’m sorry to say so is cassell!! we need another recieving core altogether to match our running game because stonehands bowe and old ass chambers ain’t cuttin it!! maybe if cassell had more threats and mcluster was playin it would have been a different story have faith guys !!! BTW I wore my colors proud through raider stadium me and my wife!!!!!!

GenieGene – I applaud you Bro – I’m a Jersey Chief fan who constantly travels to see the Chiefs and I know what it is like to go to certain stadiums such as Cleveland – Philly and my hometown Jets. It can be Brutal and I’m proud to say I Love my Chiefs despite puttin me through Hell some weeks. As far as the Officials – the Nfl needs to seriously think about getting retired Players involved in Officiating and you will see less BS calls – I know the NFL is so concerned about helmet to Helmet hits but they should be more concerned with the awful Officiating that is on display week after week. GO CHIEFS

We lost, BUT, Chief/Raider rivalry is BACK! I hate the Raiders, my ebay name and youtube is ChiefsRaiderhater. That was the craziest game ever. Jeff Tripplett should be ran out of tne NFL. EVERY game he officiates has too many flags. Oakland as always leads the league in penalties so add Tripplett and you get 30 flags in a game. They gave Oakland 2 free time outs at the end because they are clueless with calls and reviews. Oakland stopped our run and that is the main reason we lost. Teams know Cassel and Bowe are no Manning and whoever. Stop our run and we’ll lose every time.
Mile High is never a great place for us, but I think after last week, the team should be fired up and the Donkey’s suck along with their coach.

i do have to say bowe is supposed to be our deep threat and there has been no deep threat this year as well as cassel needs to step up and make the deep throw to keep the short passes open i dont hate just 60 million should be a little bit more consistant
