Chiefs tight end Tony Moeaki left yesterday’s game with what Nick Wright of 610 Sports reports is a concussion. The hit occured on an onside kick attempt by the Chiefs late in the 4th quarter. Moeaki, was hit hard by Broncos linebacker Joe Mays and staggered to the sideline.
Depending on the severity of the concussion, Moeaki could be out next week, if not longer.
Think this could be why Haley refused to shake hands with Denver coach Josh McDaniels after the game?
Wish Tony a speedy recovery. Think Mays will be fined for that hit?

I can’t tell from the video, did he hit him with his helmet or arm? Looks like he was watching the ball and not the guy who hit him.

I didn’t get to watch the game, had to work all day sunday. But that hit makes me angry, it was totally unneccesary and a blatant cheap shot. Unncecesary has never been more meaningful of a word to me then on that play.

I hate the Donkeys, but that looked legal to me. Mays is a cheap shot artist, but on that play he just jacked him up. That’s the reason they changed the rules on stacking 1 side. 2 forces running full speed, that’s going to happen. Sucks that it’s our best receiver. I heard the snub came because the Donkey’s sideline was laughing about it. Just wait until the rematch.
