[KC Chiefs.com] In a sign the Chiefs are concerned about their depth, they signed veteran cornerback Mike Richardson. Richardson played for the Chiefs last season as a reserve and went to camp with them this year.
The Chiefs played without starting cornerback Brandon Flowers in last week’s game against Seattle because of a hamstring injury. They lost his replacement, Jackie Bates, early in the third quarter with a knee injury.
To clear roster room for Richardson, the Chiefs released linebacker Justin Cole.

We must run the ball and control the clock if we’re weak at CB. We can’t let Denver throw the ball all over the place. I sure hope Flowers can get back quick.
