[KC Chiefs.com] The NFL informed the Chiefs on Thursday that QB Matt Cassel has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for November.
Cassel completed 90 of 144 passes for 1,111 yards and 12 touchdowns in four November games. Those 12 touchdown passes led the league, however the Chiefs went only 2-2 in those games.
The last Chiefs quarterback to be so honored was Steve DeBerg, who was given the award in September 1990.

Cassel is looking more like the 11-5 QB he was in NE. Show’s how good he can be when he has a good receiver (like Bowe has been the past few games). I guess he has shut up all the haters.

This is only his 3rd year as a starter so makes sense he’s starting to pick it up, plus the O line is finally doing it’s job. CHRISTMAS TUNE: It’s starting to look alot like Playoffs, every week we play…
Now, we need to reap revenge and spank the Donkeys by 30 and issue McBaby his pink slip. GO CHIEFS!

Ok, I’ll take him off my hate list for now. We’ll see how it goes. He has made much better decisions lately. I hope he proves he can do it. I’ll be the first to say I maybe was wrong about him….lol
