[KC Chiefs.com] The Chiefs put Matt Cassel in the doubtful category for Sunday’s game against the Chargers. That officially means he could still play, even though after having an appendectomy he hasn’t practiced all week.
Don’t be surprised if the Chiefs issue another injury report Saturday declaring Cassel out. They’ve issued several similar revised reports on Saturdays after the opponent has concluded its preparation for the game.

We will still beat them! Charlie Weiss says he has all the confidence in the world in Brodie Croyle, that’s good enough for me sons!

What a great way to stick the dagger in–beat the Chargers, with a backup QB, at their place and eliminating them from the playoffs. We can do this! Chiefs Will!!

FROM NFL.COM
The Kansas City Chiefs and running back Jamaal Charles have agreed to a five-year, $32.5 million contract extension with $13 million guaranteed, a league source said Saturday.
Charles, who’s finishing up a three-year contract that he signed as a rookie in 2008, was scheduled to make $470,000 in base salary this season. His new deal starts in 2011 and runs through 2015

Now we start Brodie “Pringles in a Can†Croyle…. Sorry im not a fan of him. Produce and make me a believer…. throw 250 yards/ 3 TD’s 1 INT. I may believe….
If this happens
Chiefs 38 Glorified Sparklers 28, if not….. Defense will be tired and they will throw 38 on us and we will only score 10 if that

If the Chiefs stay with their game plan that they had in the season opener, this game will be close. Of course, it will be interesting to see who will be inactive for the Bolts. That may be more of a difference than Cassel not playing. And, the Bolts have not fared very well against top 5 rushing teams even though they are #5 in rush defense in the league.
