[Chiefs Blog] Chiefs coach Todd Haley said today that Matt Cassel’s availability for Sunday boils down to the Chiefs and whether they believe Cassel can do the things he needs to do in Sunday’s game.
”It will truly be a day to day thing,” Haley said. ”That’s not at any kind of level secrecy. We just have to see how he responds each day.”
Officially, the Chiefs said Cassel was a limited participant in practice. No one would quantify exactly how much Cassel did but Cassel said, ”I was slightly limited in some drills.”
no need to put him in if he is not ready…… our playoffs will be “0″ with Croyle, but at least a chance with Cassel even when hurt.Question…..do we lose going to the playoffs or do we risk it with Cassel…..
Last thing I would want is Cassel to get hurt bad where we lose him for the season
There has to be a QB out there that KC can pick up

1st,to all those who have doubted Cassel, I hope you realize the error in your ways! 2nd, kcchiefs, the best QB that was available was Patrick Ramsey who the Vikings just signed. There are no QB’s available that would know our offense and be able to start in a weeks time better than Brody Croyle. If there were, they would already be starting for another team! Finally, the playoffs have started for us, Jeff in VA. If we don’t make it, it’s because we gave away those two wins in Houston and Oakland!!!

We cannot hope that SanDiego loses. We control our own destiny. We win the next 3 and we are in! Two of them should be guaranteed since they are at home! We are better than the Rams, way better. SanDiego got their revenge from that monday night game. Only thing that worries me is not having Cassel. I never thought he was this valuable to our team, but he is! Without Cassel, we are in trouble…unless Charles and Jones rush for 400 yards. KEEP THE FAITH GUYS!! WE CAN DO THIS!!!
