[KC Chiefs.com] The NFL informed the Chiefs today that linebacker Derrick Johnson has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in a 27-13 win at St. Louis.
Johnson produced career-highs with 17 tackles and four passes defensed against the Rams. He was part of a Chiefs defense that allowed a season-low 224 yards of total offense and limited Rams running back Steven Jackson to 67 rushing yards.

BEST MODE!!!!!!!!!!! Just like he was when he was at Texas. Whey the hell did he get benched last year? I can never understand that.

romeo knows how to use his players to the best of thier capabilities, to bad we let the freak jared allen go he would be a sack monster here. But we got hali and he is finally being used the way he should be!!!

Time to kill the Titans! c’mon KC baby, don’t let yourselves and your awesome fans down. We know you got this as long as we got Cassel behind center!

I’ve liked this kid from day one, and for the life of me could not figure out why he was not playing up to his skill level. Crennel Has got to be the difference, I don’t know of any other reason, he was too talented not be a super star. I am totally stoked to see him finally playing up to his potential and look forward to seeing him get better from here on out. I’ve been a fan for a very long time, and have seen us waiver many opportunities in the past that I’m just going to wait until after the last game before I can exhale and say we are going to the playoffs, don’t take me wrong I’m totally elated to have a meaningful game in December but a bit skeptic about taking it to the next level!
