[KC Chiefs.com] The NFL announced today that wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, guard Brian Waters and running back Jamaal Charles will represent the Chiefs in the 2011 Pro Bowl.
Charles and Bowe are Pro Bowl selections for the first time, Waters for the fifth time.
Bowe is just ninth in the AFC in catches (67) and fifth in yardage (1,094) but is the runaway leader in receiving touchdowns (15).
Waters represents an offensive line that led the way for the Chiefs to lead the league in rushing.
Charles is second in the AFC with 1,380 yards. His per-carry average of 6.4 yards is more than a yard better than anyone else with more than 100 carries. He also had 43 catches.
Quarterback Matt Cassel, linebacker Tamba Hali and cornerback Brandon Flowers were among the strong candidates who didn’t get selected.
The Pro Bowl will be played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii on Sunday, January 30, 2011.

Manning made it to the Pro Bowl this year on his good name. I wish they wouldn’t do that. Tony G is one of them this year. His numbers are way down, but he made it in the NFC on his good name. Flowers has had a quiet year because they throw away from him. He deserves to be there too.

When the Chiefs won the AFC West last week, the team also clinched their schedule for next year. Although we don’t know who will be home and who will be away….based upon the Chiefs winning the division… these are the teams they will play next year:
TWO DIVISIONAL GAMES
Denver Broncos
Oakland Raiders
San Diego Chargers
AFC EAST
New England Patriots
New York Jets
Miami Dolphins
Buffalo Bills
NFC NORTH
Green Bay Packers
Chicago Bears
Minnesota Vikings
Detroit Lions
TWO AFC DIVISION WINNINERS
Indianapolis Colts
Pittsburgh Steelers or Baltimore Ravens
WOW!

Our defense is getting robbed every time I turn around. So freakin’ robbed…The media rarely mentions the D–it’s aggrevating–hopefully motivating for the boys though, show ‘em in the Playoffs. CHIEFS WILL

As a tribute to the Chiefs and as further inspiration, I have re-written a very famous song that is as awsome as they come. I personally thought it came out great, so I bounced it off all the guys at work. They agreed, raving about it! in fact, they were However, it needs to be set to a video and someone to perform the lyrics. So, I am asking if anyone out there has the talent to bring it to finish. When it is finished, I would’nt be suprised if they want to use it at the games on the huge screen. If you can help, email me. jack.j@everestcaster.com
PS. little time left…must hurry

I don’t know why people get pissed about pro bowl. Who cares. It’s worse than a preseason game. Our D needs to step it up in the playoffs. As soon as we leave Arrowhead, they forget how to tackle. We need them playing their best WHEN we go to Pittsburgh. GO CHIEFS!
