Weiss is a inconsiderate jerk ! His name should be ever stricken from any Chiefs history. To put yourself before the team, especially a team making the playoffs, when all that has been preached all year long is put team before individual shows what kind of person he really is. I hope he goes to Florida, he’s a big bust and they fire him shortly thereafter !

Let’s not give up too soon. In 2008, Todd Haley’s Cardinals finished the season 9-7 and a 4th seed in the NFC. That team won 3 playoff games and lost the superbowl by only 4 points. Also, now that I have cooled off a little after yesterdays loss, I’ve been thinking. I am hoping that Weis can focus now that all the rumors have been answered and everyone knows whats going on. If he can, we have some good playoff experienced coaches. I think we’ll be ready to play and beat the Ravens.

Yeah, isn’t that something…last week, the media just could NOT say enough good about us–and trying to pretend that they’ve believed in us all year–and our offense is sooooooooooooo good and not to mention the defense…and you do NOT want to go play them at Arrowhead, and yeah, and so on, etc. Yeah, the same Chiefs team that got their butts handed to him by Denver and San Diego. Now, with yesterday’s crappy loss to our biggest rival, we’re chop suey? Friggin’ ridiculous! I am extremely disappointed in our performance, that’s for sure–but I, like you, knew the Raiders were going to do this to us as well, and I’m sure Al Davis said that he would have their families slaughtered (at the very least) if they didn’t win, BUT STILL…they are our biggest rival and they’re a bunch of jealous losers with an agenda–they played us the way we shoul’ve played them…but regardless, someone has to lose, we clearly were unprepared for some reason, and the media just happens to overlook the fact that Raiders/Chiefs games have to be evaluated in and of themselves…The Raiders aren’t the sh*t b/c they beat us and we don’t stink like sh*t b/c they did. So media, evaluate that.

sorry but we where all aware that oakland was going to do this to us my prob is why did we keep the starters in that long id rather play the jets but we should have pulled the starters in the 3rd it was a ugly game at the half wasnt there only 77 yds offense cassel was hit many times and we all saw our wonderful backup croyle so why are we risking injury for really a meaningless game now every web site we are not the underdog but a joke yes we are still the cinderella story but a joke we have been about controling the game no turnovers and control clock we did none of that at home against our rivals last game of regular season stupid thats on haley for keeping the starters in DUMB move -last note we won the last game in denver last year and our players said that momentum was there in preseason and begining of the season

I love the Chiefs…don’t get me wrong, but if the Chiefs play like they did on Sunday…that playoff game will get ugly real soon! The Ravens are much more physical of a team then the Raiders. The Raiders just whooped the Chiefs physically. We need to man up this Sunday if the Chiefs want to advance. I have faith in Romeo Crennel. I think the Chiefs will perform much better this week.

We need the fans to show up as well!

Ed, don’t get too greedy. LOL. A fan on the Ravens site is saying the same thing about them hosting the AFC Championship game if the Jets win out too.

I just came from the Ravens website and the story that talks about going to KC for the first game, ends with scenarios determining where they’ll play their second game. They’re looking past us. We’re getting no respect. Good thing we have to play the game. I hope we can show up this time and shut everyone up.

Okay I know this is wishful thinking but we could host the AFC Championship…

)Jets at 3)Colts
5)Ravens at 4)Chiefs

1)Patriots host the lowest seed.
2)Steelers host the next to lowest seed.

Example:
If 6)Jets and 4)Chiefs win
1)New England will host 6)Jets: and Steelers will host 4)Chiefs.

My fantasy bracket:
Round 1: Jets beat the Colts; Chiefs beats the Ravens.
Round 2: Jets beats the Patriots, and KC beats the Steelers.
AFC Championship: KC host the Jets,
haha anything is possible!

What the hell was that???? Yeah, I think I’m agreeing with you Tammy it is classless to even think about leaving before the season is over. The fact that he is leaving doesn’t bother me, but wait until the end of the season to even discuss it. Haley says it wasn’t a distraction, but I believe it is. I hope they slam the door on his fat a$$ after he leaves. We have bounced back well after big and close loses this year. I hope we can do it again.

One thing Haley can improve next year, is getting this team pumped up for division games. We have a tough schedule next year and we’re going to have to dominate our division to have a chance. 2-4 in the division next year, might lead to a 6-10 season. Neither the defense nor the offensive line showed up to play today.

Vanilla play calling today. The Chiefs are going to play a game at Arrowhead regardless of what happened today. I’m sure with that in mind, this was the closest the Raiders will get to the post season and Haley doesn’t want to show too much to whoever they play next. Remember Haley had called some of the best plays you could call during the superbowl run w Arizona. If weis isn’t into it, Haley sure will be. We will be fearless and the team NOBODY wants to play for years to come.

Okay, I know every game the Raiders play against us is like their friggin’ Super Bowl–and I knew they were gonna come in today with guns a-blazin’, trying to hurt guys and end careers…but seriously, coincidence? Our offense sucked ballz today…hmmm?!?! Bye-Bye perfect record at Arrowhead. The Jets or Ravens just need to watch this game and emulate it to a “T”. I don’t know if it’s a loyalty thing so much as it’s just rude as hell to even ponder leaving publicly, it’s just classless. How could it possibly be the right thing to do? Thanx for the “non” distraction, axxhole.

Well this decision just cost us the Oakland game and whoever we play in the Playoffs. WOW oh WOW. This makes me sick. Loyalty doesn’t exist with someone how likes backtracking in a career as does Charlie Weis. By the way I am typing this as we went down 31 to 10. So a little pissed for sure.

It has GOT to be a distraction, this is not good, not good…I understand that he left the The Pats and they didn’t miss a beat, I’m not so much worried about that, but, right NOW??? It makes me sick that this is happening before the playoffs start. I understand it’s all business, but there is no loyalty anymore. I hope it doesn’t create a distraction for the team that can’t make any mistakes.

As far as Josh Daniels being the leading candidate for OC, I don’t mind him coming in, but I do remember he and Haley having issues at midfield. If Haley has any say, Josh probably wont be coming here.
