[Kansas City.com] Former Chiefs head coach Marty Schottenheimer will be inducted into the Chiefs Hall of Fame during Sunday’s game against Oakland at Arrowhead Stadium.
Schottenheimer coached the Chiefs to three AFC West championships and four wild-card playoff appearances in his ten seasons from 1989 through 1998.

If not for Lin Elliott, Marty might have won a superbowl for us following the 95 season. He’s a great coach even though we didn’t win the big one.

People say that Marty could not “win the big one,” but I just loved making the playoffs each year! Absolutely loved the Christian Okoye, Barry Word, Neil Smith, Derrick Thomas days! Oh…what memories!
Go Chiefs on Sunday!
