		<description><![CDATA[Damn!  That&#039;s close.  He did a great job though.  These guys demonstrated the importance of speed in the RB after running the same plays with the same offensive line.  Charles gets through the hole so quick.  That&#039;s the difference between him and Jones, acceleration through the hole.  A split second faster through the hole relates to yards in the speed of the NFL.  If you could lay the video of both players, on the same play, on top of each other, you&#039;d see Charles 2 or 3 yards farther down field in a very short time, putting tacklers behind him.

I know many want him to have more attempts, I&#039;ve even said that this year myself.  But I now think they had a perfect mix of the two and it keeps Charles fresh.  I think if he were to add more carries, his average would drop.  Kind of like finding the sweet spot for speed in your car as far as miles per gallon goes.  I think they found Charles&#039; sweet spot.  The initial thought is, if he averages 6.4 per carry, give him the ball every play, but you can&#039;t do that.  He&#039;d break and the defense would key on it.   I hope he hooks up with Thomas Jones in the off season and learns how to prepare his body.]]></description>
