[KC Chiefs.com] Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles was chosen first-team All-Pro running back by the Associated Press. Charles finished second in the NFL in rushing with 1,467 yards and had a phenomenal 6.4 yards-per-carry average.

Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe was named a to the second team. He caught 72 passes for 1,162 yards and led the NFL with 15 receiving touchdowns.

All-Pro players are selected by a national panel of 50 media members.

The following Chiefs received All-Pro votes but not enough to place them on the first or second teams: guards Brian Waters and Ryan Lilja, center Casey Wiegmann, outside linebacker Tamba Hali, inside linebacker Derrick Johnson and cornerback Brandon Flowers.

Charles, Bowe, Waters and Hali will play in Sunday’s Pro Bowl in Honolulu along with quarterback Matt Cassel and safety Eric Berry.
