[KC Chiefs.com] Two Chiefs were named to the 2010 USA Today All-Joe Team Wednesday morning, a squad comprised of NFL unsung heroes. To qualify for the All-Joe team, players must still be awaiting their first Pro Bowl invitation.
This year, Chiefs G Ryan Lilja and LB Derrick Johnson were named to the All-Joe Team for the first time of their careers.
Lilja, who was also named to Peter King’s All-Pro team last week, helped the Chiefs lead the NFL in rushing for the first time since 1995.
Johnson started 16 games for Kansas City and tallied a team-high 147 tackles. He also forced four fumbles, recovered another, and intercepted one pass that he returned for a touchdown.
