Im on the owners side and heres why. in every business model the employer makes more money than the employee. you dont see entry level employees make more than the company’s president or owner. subsequently these players think its a right to play in the nfl when in fact its a privelege! the icing on the cake is a. peterson’s statement on how the nfl is slavery. unless my history books were wrong but i dont recall slaves making any sort of income or have a choice in the matter. this statement is more ignorant than sprewell asking how he can feed his family on a multi-million dollar contract. referring to yourself as a slave while sipping champagne in a mansion is offensive and ignorant!

really at a lose for words if free agency doesnt start atleast 1-2 wks before the draft i wont watch anything nfl freaking pissed a month or so left of basketball then finals w/out perkins then what ? very disappoinnted in all this really takes a toll on what i look forward to guess ill have to spend my money elsewhere oh yah what about how it effects beer sales ,nachos, grilling, marrages, my biggest problem is didnt players all sign contracts and have agents to guild them if i dont like myjob i get a new one or switch profesions

i am pissed too but we all know we are going back to the nfl as soon as this bullcrap is over. hell, ill throw a party when everything is settled. i hate what they are doing, but who are we kidding trying to counterstike? the nfl is king and they know it!

i say the fans go on strike as soon as this is all fixed no fan gose to a game or watches them on tv or anything then the next time the players and owners have a fight about money they can just ask the fans for some help with thier problem and ask what we think but that will never happen with us Chiefs fans because we love our team am i right
