    1. Very tough stretch between week 11 NE and week 15 GB. 2 Monday night games!! Winning every game in our division will be way more important than last year. We got a very hard schedule.

      Praying there is a season!

    4. off of the topic but im trying to get feedback on my mock draft. here is my final mock before the draft:

rd 1: Gabe Carimi OT Wisconsin
-need help on the o-line and with the 21st pick they pick a need as well as the best player on the board. “great sucess!”-borat

rd 2: Torrey Smith WR Maryland
-possible 1st rounder but we get lucky and he falls to the mighty CHIEFS. need a receiver to stretch the field to compliment D-Bowe.

rd 3: Jerell Powe NT Ole Miss
-didnt go after big phil in the first round so we solidify out d-line with a solid nose tackle.

rd 4: Lawrence Wilson OLB UCONN
-everything i have read on this guy is positive. he has a great motor and was a team captain at linebacker for the huskies. everything adds up with this guy to be a “pioli pick.”

rd 5: TJ Yates QB UNC
-need to get a backup qb on this team and we dont know how this story is going to end with cassel. just hired a great qb coach in jim zorn to develop cassel and yates. yates had a solid career at unc and could develop into a great back up qb (maybe starter).

rd 5 second pick: Delone Carter RB ‘Cuse
-a lot of mock drafts ive seen had us getting this guy. he is a big running back that can compliment king charles. t jones is getting up there in age and what better mentor to have for carter and charles.

rd 6: Time Barnes C Missouri
-weigman will more than likely retire. it would have been nice to get pouncey in the 1st round, but we fall short to the nyg with that pick.

All needs are met and free agency will be the icing on the cake….GO CHIEFS!

    5. I agree with the first 3 positions of your picks, but in a different order and different players. I guess that means I disagree, but could see your choices happening.
      I like
      1. DT/NT Cory Luiget Illinois
      2. OL Stefan Wisneiski Penn State
      3. WR Tandon Doss Indiana
I agree a QB, OLB and C will come after that. I think we’ll take another CB late too.

    6. i like your second pick. he’s a solid lineman that will be a mid second round pick. im not sure about luiget. ive seen mocks where he is going in the top 15, but ive also seen him going late in the 1st. i thought he was more of a dt than a nt and i would have a tough time drafting another tackle in the first with so much money invested in jackson and dorsey. doss is a nice pick up. everybody says we need a nosetackle but i dont see why perv smith cant take on that roll. hes the same weight as phil taylor and has experience. it would be nice to pick up greg little (wr unc)in the 3rd or 4th. hes a 1st rd talent that is being overlooked due to missing a year of football. with haley molding receivers, that would be a great pick up.

    7. One thing I haven’t had time to look into, is which players were team captains. I think that is a trend the Chiefs started last year and will continue–picking players that were captains on the college team. Unfortunately, most stat pages about these players don’t say if they were team captains, so you have to do some digging and that take time. That Phil Taylor has a checkered past, and Pioli likes to stay away from those.

    8. team captains are good to have but you have to have a ying and yang style team to get to that next level. look at the cream of the afc this year: nyj (scott), pitt (harrison), balt (suggs),ne (back in the day with moss and harrison). the only team that seemed to be straight laced was indi. it would be nice to have a little more attitude on this team like perv smith. greg little at wr would be a nice pick up in the draft even with character issues. I GUESS THE BEST WAY TO PUT IT IS WE NEED A DANNY BLOVER AND MEL GIBSON COMBO! as far as our playoff streak “IM GETTING TO OLD FOR THIS SHIT.” sorry, its friday and i started drinking.
