With the 26th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs selected WR Jonathan Baldwin from the University of Pittsburgh.

Baldwin (6’4″, 228) caught 53 passes for 822 yards last season for the Panthers and he has the size and skills necessary to be a productive second receiver on the NFL level.

In his three seasons at Pittsburgh, Baldwin started 27 games for the Panthers, seeing time at both flanker and split end. His career average of 18.31 yards per reception is a testament to his big-play ability. He also ranks eighth in school annals with 2,325 yards receiving and 127 receptions.

The Chiefs traded their original first-round draft pick, the 21st overall, to the Cleveland Browns.

The Chiefs acquired a first-round pick, 27th overall, and a third-round draft pick from the Browns. The Browns used the pick on Baylor defensive tackle Phil Taylor.

The Baltimore Ravens passed on the pick ahead of the Chiefs, giving the Chiefs the 26th pick.
