The Chiefs wrapped up day two of the 2011 NFL Draft by selecting a pair of defensive ends in the 3rd round, Justin Houston from the University of Georgia, and Allen Bailey from the University of Miami.
Houston (6’3″, 270) was a two year starter for the Bulldogs and received All-SEC honors after his sophomore and junior seasons and named to several All-American teams last year.
Houston’s stock may have dropped amid reports that he tested positive for marijuana at the NFL scouting combine
Bailey (6’3″, 285) was a two year starter for the Hurricanes and received All-ACC honors each of the last two years.

im happy cuz we now have someone on the chiefs with the last name Bailey!!! me and my cousins have chiefs jerseys with Bailey on the back so if someone asks who bailey is we can tell them its the defensive end!!!!!!

LOL @ Jordan Bailey. Hope he makes the team!
Since the book on Houston is he’s 1st round talent but lacks motor, effort and drive and Baily is opposite (not quite as talented but goes hard in practice and on the field), I’m hoping Baily will motivate Houston. I think it was two good picks. Houston was the highest ranking guy on the board when we took him (best available) and it addressed a need.

Judging from their combine videos on kcchiefs.com Bailey looks better than Houston. He looks quick as hell. He runs a 4.51 and JON BALDWIN ran a 4.50.
